Fresh from my Sissy's Blog

So my sister's partner said "I thought Jews didn't dress up on Easter?"
We had to tell her that this was just a regular school day. I know it looks like we both have casts on our legs but those are just socks. And yes, I am wearing orthopedic shoes. This is just sad.

Now that I have almost recovered from the initial shock of the combination of wrongs in that photo, I only wish we still had those lunchboxes. I think they go for over $100, plus if I had one, I might carry it to work. But only on the days when I wear my Danskin dress with white knee socks and sneakers with big white toes.

Are those supposed to be shrubs?

Look you are wearing a trainer watch!

At least my skirt covers my privates! Thanks, mom!

My skirt is a little short! What's up with that?
I think that is an original Mickey Mouse watch that I traded for a pencil shortly after this picture was taken.
I guess it wasn't shiny enough.
And - please notice the grass is much greener on my side of the picture. Hmmm?

Those ARE some sad shrubs. maybe we had just moved in?

Don't knock dad's grass. He did the best he could. Our people weren't farmers!

OK - My grass is greener but your bush is bigger.

You're right, but oh, that is so wrong.

What's on the lunch box? I had Holly Hobbie, and my mom kept ot for years. But I think it succumbed to rust, alas.

Those seem like really large lunch boxes (or are the two of you really tiny). I have this picture in my head now of you and your sister cooking up new and wonderful appetizers for all your little friends and then stuffing them into those large lunch boxes! And oh how everyone at school couldn’t wait until lunch time…everyone would crowd around both of you drooling for the latest food concoction!

They are large. There was a matching thermos inside. I am sure Ma packed enough food for a week incase we got lost or something.
