...awwww,turning 40? It's not so bad. All the cool people are doing it. :-)
It wasn't bad turning 40 but now my little sissy is turning 40 and it's even stranger than doing it myself. I love you Muffin Face and happy happy 40th (a little early). We'll be celebrating next week!!!!!
Look at the bright side--you'll be in your "early-somethings" again, instead of your "late-somethings." When people tell me that 50 is the new 40, I always reply, "Tell that to my ass."
But seriously, I think your 40's are a fantastic decade. Young enough to change the whole path of your life if you wish, and armed with the wisdom you did not possess in your twenties.

I love birthdays and have never had one of those pit in my stomach feelings from any of mine. I'm now 41 and wouldn't want it any other way.
