New food and more coming soon!

My talented and creative friend, Holly T. has been taking candy and chocolate making classes and I have been after her for a blog post - well, she wrote a beautiful post and I am trying to figure out how to get it on my blog - I promise to have that for you soon.

I guess the traditional time for corned beef was last week on St. Patrick's Day - since I make it all year I neglected to remember to have it on Wednesday. But Lisa K didn't. She even sent me a picture here:

She cooked it the way I do - in beer! It looks goooooooooood, don't it?
Now I am craving some. I guess I will be making it soon.

This weekend is the annual Irish Festival in Church Hill where I live. It is sponsored by St. Patrick's Church, also in the neighborhood. Every year I venture out and listen to great music and have fantastic food. Last year it rained and was cold but I still stayed out all day and had an awesome time. This year it is beautiful but today - cold but beautiful. I am stuck at work so tomorrow I will walk down the street and join in the fun. You can hear the music from inside my place - the festival is just steps from my street. I wish it happened more often.
If they have corn dogs I may stay there all day! Since I missed the State Fair this year I am way behind on my yearly Corn Dog quotas. As usual, I will let you know.

Sorry for the lack of posts - wedding planning takes a lot of time ya'll!
