Vegetable Pie




First of all I believe I owe you all a GRTC update. The bus has picked me up every day almost on time. I do believe yesterday I was in the first bus ever made - but still, it got me home so I am not complaining....really.

Second of all - I made this pie.

It was so simple - I defrosted a bag of mixed veggies and added some canned potatoes, a cup of cream of mushroom soup, some milk and various herbs and spices. I no longer have a cooking brush thing so I spooned the top with a mixture of egg wash and olive oil. As you can see by the picture of the pie - I was not able to keep the egg wash only on the crust. I went outside the lines but that only made the top of the whole pie yummier. Don't think that is a word but whatever. It was good and I got rid of some cans that had been in my way for months.

What is that crust? Is it puff pastry? You are pie-gifted. I still want a piece of that artichoke pie you know how to make.

it is already made pillsbury pie crust - it is great and easy as...well, pie.
