Nostalgic nuggets



A couple days ago my Sissy posted a story about cooking chicken squares, a dish my Mom used to make for us when we were little. After reading about it and seeing the pictures I had to have some myself - and while jenn's looked good - I decided in order for them to be as authentic as possible - I would go straight to the source. I asked my Mom exactly how they were done. It is because of this extra step that I believe mine were better -basically after soaking them in egg and covering in bread crumbs you are supposed to dredge them through flour before putting them in the pan. They tasted exactly how I remembered them. Here are some pics....
